These Walls Can Sing

 

“These Walls Can Sing” art auction is a celebration of Canadian music that features 119 paintings created by BHNCDSB students, Canadian musicians and professional community artists. The concept of this exhibit had artists interpret a Canadian song in an acrylic painting on a 10″ x 10″ canvas. People are encouraged to bring headphones and their device to interact with the art as they move through the exhibit because QR codes linking to the song have been added to the label. If you choose to attend the auction preview, we encourage you to bring devices for an emersed experience. The proceeds are being donated to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. VIEWING: Saturday, February 10th and Saturday, February 17th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Lynnwood Arts Centre (21 Lynnwood Ave., Simcoe, Ontario N3Y 2V7). PICKUP: Monday, February 26th and Tuesday, February 27th from 9:00am to 6:00pm at Lynnwood Arts Centre (21 Lynnwood Ave., Simcoe, Ontario N3Y 2V7).
