Emerging Makers Summer Art Workshops for Youth

Lynnwood Arts is excited to launch Emerging Makers, a Summer Art Workshop Series at the Lynnwood Arts Centre, for youth ages 14-17. Offered August 17-21, this immersive week-long program gives teens the opportunity to connect with their peers while learning directly from local, professional artists in their field of expertise and exploring a range of creative disciplines from glass fusing to gelli plate printing and more!

Emerging Makers is designed to keep participants engaged, inspired, and creatively challenged throughout the workshops while building new artistic skills and confidence!

Workshop Dates
August 17–21, 2026 (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Workshop Fee: $250 + HST per participant

There are limited spots available so sign up early!

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Simcoe Lions Club, a limited number of scholarships are available to assist participants facing financial hardship*. This funding support helps ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation in Emerging Makers, allowing individuals of all backgrounds to access and benefit from the program.
