Inspired by Maya Deren’s 1943 short film Meshes of the Afternoon, this exhibition confronts notions of self-reflection, memory, and dreams. 

Meshes of the Moment explores where we go in a moment and the complex formation of memories influenced by our diverse perspectives and experiences. Consider nostalgia, stillness, chaos, and connection. The artworks invite you into a moment that will eventually become a memory. 

All works on display were carefully selected and curated by Hollie Stoneman from Lynnwood’s permanent collection.
